JQuery is Fun

In my last post I mentioned that I thought it was time to move on to JQuery because I felt that working in JQuery would naturally improve my Javascript technique.

I was right about that. Moving on has helped in several ways:

  1.  I am getting better at the syntax of Javascript through using JQuery and understanding how this language fits into the larger picture on a webpage.
  2. I am realizing that I know more than I think I know. I didn’t think I absorbed much of the Javascript instruction in TOP or Udemy, but I am writing lines of code without peaking, so much of the information has stuck, much to my surprise.
  3. I am enjoying the experience so much more. I love animating a webpage.

Here is one of my practice pages with some simple JQuery animation.
